DOT Physical Exam

A DOT (Department of Transportation) exam is a detailed exam designed to assess the general health of people who desire to drive and operate certain types of commercial vehicles. The DOT test examines the driver’s physical, mental, and emotional health to ensure safety while operating a commercial vehicle without putting themselves and others at risk. As of 2014, these exams can only be provided by nationally certified medical examiners certified via the FMCSA.
